Wilderness Canoe Trips

Grassy River: Depart From Canberry Portage and canoe through the Grassy River Provincial Park. Pickups can be arranged at different Provincial Campgrounds along the way allowing you to customize your trip to suit your needs. There is a fair amount of lake travel at with this trip, at the departure you will need to cross the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Cranberry Lakes. Along the way you will find some rapids that are best portaged around. This is a trip for the Intermediate to Advanced Canoe enthusiasts.

Walton to Batty Lake: Follow the Limestone and Shineton Creeks and travel from our Walton Lake Base Camp to Batty Lake
Length: 5 Nights
Difficulty: Intermediate
 
Walton to Moody Lake: Follow the Limestone and Shineton Creeks and travel from our Walton Lake Base Camp to Moody Lake. To Access Moody Lake, You will cross Batty Lake and exit on the East Side and continue travelling South to Moody Lake
Length: 7 Nights

Walton to Limestone Point Lake: Follow the Limestone and Shineton Creeks and travel from our Walton Lake Base Camp to Moody Lake. To Access Moody Lake, You will cross Batty Lake and exit on the East Side and continue travelling South to Moody Lake
Length: 7 Nights
Difficulty: Intermediate
 
Walton to Loon Head Lake: On this trip you will be gone for 10 days, your party will travel on the Limestone, Shineton creeks, crossing Limestone Point Lake you willpick up the File River and continue South to Loon Head Lake.
Length: 9 Nights  
Difficulty: Intermediate
 
File River to Burntwood Lake On this trip you will be gone for 10 days of serious river travel., your party will travel on the Limestone, Shineton creeks, crossing Limestone Point Lake you will pick up the File River and continue North through Craik Lake and into Burtwood.
Length: 12 Nights
Difficulty: Intermediate / Advanced
